Bitcoin Hits New High Above $87,000 Amid ETF Inflows
Bitcoin reached levels above $87,000 on Monday after starting the week around $81,000. The move came alongside significant inflows into spot BTC ETFs, nearly $1 billion for the session.
Analysts pointed to signs of liquidity returning to the market and rising institutional participation. Bitcoin made another attempt to hold $87,000 but eventually retreated to $84,000.
For the week, the leading cryptocurrency rose more than 5%, again nearing $85,000. Several top-10 assets outperformed bitcoin, with Zcash gaining 14% and Solana and XRP rising by ~13% and ~11%, respectively.
