Bitcoin Holds Above $83,000 Support After Sequans Treasury Exit
Bitcoin's price remains above $83,000 support after Sequans Communications sold its remaining 34 BTC, ending its treasury strategy. The company now reports no crypto assets on its balance sheet and will focus on a semiconductor growth strategy.
Crypto Patel notes that about 16.3 million BTC, or 81% of supply, have not moved in six months. Long-term holders added more than three million BTC since 2020.
Bitcoin's price is still down 33.2% from its October 2025 record of $126,080 and has been trading near $84,165. The daily moving averages retain a bullish rating with 13 positive readings, but buyers face resistance between $85,500 and $86,000.
