Bitcoin Price Could Hit $400,000 by 2030, According to Coinbase CEO
A recent surge in Bitcoin's price has investors hopeful that the cryptocurrency may be on the verge of another bull market run.
According to Coinbase Global CEO Brian Armstrong, Bitcoin could hit $400,000 by the end of 2030, which would mean a modest $500 investment today could be worth nearly $2,500 by then.
The primary catalyst for Bitcoin's growth is institutional adoption, with banks and Wall Street financial institutions increasingly embracing the cryptocurrency.
However, the passage of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, which was expected to boost institutional adoption, has faded away, leaving it up to the SEC and CFTC to fill the regulatory void.
Bitcoin's growth rate over the past decade has been 34%, and if it were to maintain this rate over the next four years, the price would be $275,000 by the end of 2030.
