Bitcoin Price Falls Below $63,000 Amid Stock Market Rally
The Bitcoin price has been under pressure in recent months, dropping to its lowest level since August 3rd at $63,043. This decline is largely attributed to the ongoing stock market rally, with top indices like the S&P 500 and Dow Jones hitting their all-time highs.
Investors are moving away from cryptocurrencies and towards equities, especially with the launch of tokenized stocks on major exchanges. Additionally, Bitcoin is struggling due to elevated US bond yields, with the 30-year yield remaining above 5% and the 2-year and 10-year yields jumping over 4% this year.
Despite these challenges, Michael Saylor's Strategy, the largest Bitcoin holder in the world, is expected to reveal the number of Bitcoins sold last week. This could be a key catalyst for the market.
The daily chart shows that the BTC/USD pair has been under pressure and is currently trading below its 50-day moving average. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has dropped below 50, indicating a bearish trend, while other top oscillators like the MACD and Stochastic Oscillator continue to fall.
