Crypto markets have suffered a massive loss of $80 billion after Bitcoin's price plummeted to $63,000.

The sudden drop was triggered by a violent rejection of BTC's price, which had been on a tear over the past few days. On Monday, it rallied to a multi-day peak following de-escalation news on the war front, but was quickly driven south by almost three grand in hours.

Ethereum and other altcoins have also joined the painful ride, with most experiencing significant losses. HYPE has lost the most value out of the larger caps, plummeting by 8% to $55.
