Bitcoin Price Stabilizes Ahead of Massive Options Expiry Event
Bitcoin's price stabilized at around $86,300 on Wednesday, marking a 6% gain this week.
The cryptocurrency market has been closely watching the upcoming options expiry of $18 billion in Bitcoin and Ethereum contracts, set to take place on Friday. The majority of these contracts are concentrated around strike prices of $90,000 and $100,000 for Bitcoin, while Ethereum's call interest ranges from $3,000 to $4,000.
The estimated max-pain levels for both assets stand at $75,000 for Bitcoin and $2,250 for Ethereum. These figures indicate the theoretical options payouts, but do not predict the actual price movements on Friday.
