Bitcoin Price Surges Near $87,000, Traders Eye $95,000 Target
Bitcoin is currently trading near $86,800, maintaining a positive short-term trend according to recent data. Buying pressure is increasing, and if it manages to break important levels, it could lead the cryptocurrency to seek new resistance zones. This could potentially open the way for a move towards $90,000, but only if the market confirms this breakout with support above the region to avoid another consolidation move.
On the other hand, analysts warn that the structure still calls for attention to lower supports. The loss of important levels could send Bitcoin back into a broader trading range before a new attempt to move higher.
Rekt Capital points to resistance at $93,700, emphasizing the importance of the current region. According to him, Bitcoin remains pressured between support at approximately $82,500 and resistance at $86,700. Keeping $82,500 as support is essential to prevent Bitcoin from returning to the macro range between $60,000 and $80,000.
On the other hand, a sustained break of the $86,700 resistance could allow a transition to a new range between $86,700 and $93,700. This puts the area between $87,000 and $93,700 as an important zone for determining the next price move.
Merlijn The Trader presents an even more optimistic outlook, saying that Bitcoin needs to hold $83,000 and close the week above $85,600 to confirm a bullish flag formation. With Bitcoin pressing the top of the channel, a breakout could take the price to $95,000, according to the trader.
