Bitcoin Rally May Continue After FOMC Meeting: Crypto Analyst

Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe believes that Bitcoin's recent rally has legs and may continue after the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.

In a recent analysis, van de Poppe noted that Bitcoin showed a strong rebound on the day of his analysis, which coincided with similar patterns in South Korean equities. He pointed out that long lower wicks on South Korean stock charts often signal a market bottom, suggesting that investor sentiment may have reached a turning point.

The analyst also highlighted that the market appears to have already priced in excessive fear ahead of the FOMC meeting, historically leading to relief rallies. The FOMC's decision and subsequent commentary from Chair Jerome Powell could introduce volatility, but van de Poppe's outlook is conditional on the market's ability to hold recent support levels.
