Bitcoin Reclaims $84,000 Amid Easing Selling Pressure
Bitcoin's price has reclaimed $84,000 after a modest loss on Monday. This comes as US-listed spot ETFs recorded mild inflows of $31.07 million on Monday, indicating continued institutional and corporate demand for the cryptocurrency.
Institutional investors have been buying up Bitcoin in recent weeks, with Strategy adding 1,665 BTC to its reserve on Monday. The company now holds a total of 847,666 BTC, valued at $6.02 billion in USD assets.
However, profit-taking activity remains elevated, with the Network Realized Profit/Loss (NPL) metric spiking on Monday. This suggests that some investors are selling their Bitcoin holdings at a profit, putting upward pressure on the price.
Despite this, the NPL spike was less intense than in previous weeks, indicating easing selling pressure. If this trend continues, it could support Bitcoin's recovery and help it regain upside momentum.
