Jim Cramer's announcement to sell his Bitcoin position on August 2 sent shockwaves through the market, but it appears that investors have already begun to recover from the news. According to recent data, the price of Bitcoin has risen by $2,500 since Cramer stated his intention to sell and is currently trading at $64,757.

The TV host's decision to sell was driven by concerns over BTC security in the era of quantum computing, as expressed in a late July interview with IBM. However, analysts predict that the danger posed by quantum computing will not manifest for another three-odd years.

Meanwhile, the 'Inverse Cramer' strategy, which involves betting against the former hedge fund manager's recommendations, has not yielded the expected results. The strategy is up 2.49% year-to-date, far short of what might be expected if it were a savvy move.
