Bitcoin Selling Pressure Builds Among Peak Buyers
On-chain analytics firm Glassnode has observed growing selling pressure among Bitcoin investors who purchased near its peak. According to Glassnode, investors who bought during the 2025 bull market are now bringing more Bitcoin to the market each day than at any other point this year.
The increase in selling volume is particularly notable among holders who have owned Bitcoin for six to 12 months and have an average purchase price of around $89,100. These investors are likely approaching their break-even point as the token's price approaches $90,000.
Glassnode's analysis suggests that this selling pressure could intensify in the coming days, potentially leading to further market volatility. However, it is essential to note that other investor groups, such as those who bought during the price decline, are not selling their holdings and may be accumulating more Bitcoin.
