Bitcoin Shatters $76K Resistance as ETF Inflows Accelerate
Bitcoin has broken through $76K for the first time since late May, as institutional inflows and improved U.S. liquidity conditions have supported its sharp recovery.
The cryptocurrency rose to $76,291 on Aug. 21, gaining almost 9% over 24 hours and about 19% in the past seven days, according to crypto.news price data.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $606 million on August 20, extending two consecutive inflow sessions, with combined net buying exceeding $1.1 billion.
The Treasury Department announced it will double long-dated debt buybacks to at least $4 billion per operation starting September, improving liquidity conditions and making volatile assets more attractive.
