Bitcoin Short-Term Holders Maintain Profitability as Bull Signs Rise

CryptoQuant's analysis suggests that Bitcoin short-term holders (STHs) have maintained at least partial profitability for nearly a month, marking the longest consecutive in-profit stretch of 2026.

This streak is particularly notable because STHs tend to be more responsive to recent price moves and are often the first to react to market volatility.

The analysis also shows that the broader Bitcoin investor base has remained in net profit since Aug. 19, indicating an improving cost-basis landscape.

CryptoQuant's data highlights that STH profitability is being driven primarily by wallets holding between one and three months, with a realized cost basis of $63,372.
