Solana Boosts Transaction Size Limit to 4,096 Bytes

Solana has upgraded its mainnet to increase the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes. This upgrade will allow developers to include more complex instructions and data in a single transaction.

Advanced features such as zero-knowledge proofs, multisignature wallets, and atomic multi-step transactions will be supported without affecting transaction speed or throughput. The change is part of broader efforts to boost network performance and developer flexibility.

The upgrade narrows Solana's structural gap with Ethereum by removing previous size constraints. However, infrastructure providers must update their systems to handle the new transaction format.
