Bitcoin Soars Past $86K as Buyers Clear Resistance Zone
Bitcoin's price broke above $86,000 on October 2 after buyers successfully cleared the heavy resistance zone near $85,000.
The breakout was fueled by reduced sell liquidity and growing pressure on short positions.
According to Glassnode data, buyers removed a large sell wall around $85,000 on October 1, which had previously blocked price advances for almost one week.
With the removal of this sell wall, the immediate ask liquidity above the previous ceiling decreased, allowing prices to move faster when aggressive buying entered.
