NEAR Protocol ETF Debuts as Remittix Tees Up RTX Launch
The NEAR Protocol has reached a significant milestone with the launch of its US spot ETF on NYSE Arca under the ticker NRR. This development allows US investors to gain direct exposure to the token through a familiar brokerage product.
Bitwise, the issuer of the fund, plans to stake the tokens and highlights NEAR Intents as one of the network's emerging sources of activity. The ETF may improve access and visibility for an existing asset, signaling that NEAR has entered a more established part of the crypto market.
Meanwhile, Remittix is preparing to launch its RTX token on November 24. The project has already raised over $32 million in its presale, with over 40,000 people participating. The first 1,000 invited testers have begun using the app for PayFi, which converts supported crypto into fiat delivered through compatible bank accounts.
Remittix's wallet and Markets platform are already available, and the company has reported more than 10,000 iOS wallet downloads and over $50 million in cumulative volume on its live Markets product. The commercial scale is what matters for RTX, with international remittances totaling hundreds of billions of dollars each year.
The different timelines matter because NEAR's ETF provides another route for capital to reach an established network, while Remittix's launch moment is about the products and customers beginning to arrive before an exchange market sets a price for the token. If PayFi and Markets continue to attract repeat use, the date on Remittix's calendar could become much more than a listing event.
