Bitcoin Spot ETF Inflows Slow to $31 Million, Eight-Day Streak Continues
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen their streak of consecutive positive days extend to eight, but at a slower pace than before. The modest daily total of $31 million in net new capital is a sharp deceleration from the multi-hundred-million-dollar sessions that have punctuated the product class since its January 2024 debut.
The fact that inflows remained positive kept alive a streak that traders view as a gauge of institutional appetite for regulated Bitcoin exposure. Net flow figures tracked by Farside Investors show new subscriptions continuing to outpace redemptions, but at a much slower rate than in previous sessions.
A single low-inflow session does not confirm a trend reversal, and an eight-day streak does not preclude a sharp outflow day if macro conditions or sentiment shift abruptly. The relationship between ETF flows and the underlying spot market is not mechanically predictive of price direction, and context from exchange reserve trends, options market positioning, and broader risk appetite all interact with flow data to form a fuller picture.
