Bitcoin Struggles Above $84,000 Amid Strong ETF Inflows
Bitcoin has struggled to break above $84,000 despite strong US spot Bitcoin exchange traded fund (ETF) inflows of roughly $2.4 billion over the past five trading sessions through September 25.
This is the strongest weekly intake since October 2025 and has helped absorb selling pressure while rising Treasury yields and high oil prices have limited buying at higher levels.
The US 10-year Treasury yield climbed to its highest level in around 19 years, reaching approximately 5.27% on September 29, tightening financial conditions as traders reassess the path for US interest rates.
Oil has also added to pressure on rate expectations, with Brent crude trading near $106.60 due to uncertainty surrounding the Strait of Hormuz and expensive energy raising concerns that inflation could remain elevated.
