Bitcoin Surges as Technicals Point to Higher Prices
Bitcoin's price has surged recently, and analysts are optimistic about its prospects. The cryptocurrency is currently looking bullish, with buyers stepping in to cover shorts and drive prices higher.
The longer-term weekly chart shows excellent right-hand base development, suggesting that Bitcoin could challenge $125K by 2028 or sooner. However, investors should be cautious and wait for prices to narrow before buying, as the cryptocurrency will still be volatile.
Meanwhile, other assets are also showing signs of recovery. The Russell 2000 index has posted a 'bullish hammer' candlestick pattern, which is often seen as a reversal signal. Stochastics are oversold, and trading volume has picked up, indicating that bulls may have the upper hand.
The equal-weighted S&P index is also looking to shape a swing low, with buyers returning around 8,600, near historic support levels. A successful close above 8,750 could lead to a move back to challenge the last swing high in the 9000s.
