Bitcoin Surges Past $86K with Record Spot ETF Inflows
Bitcoin (BTC) has broken through $86,000 as its price surged to an intraday peak of $86,885. Despite reaching this level before, BTC struggled to maintain levels above $86,500-$87,000 in recent trading sessions.
The current daily uptrend structure remains intact, with the Relative Strength Index approaching overbought territory at 68.22. The MACD indicator shows a modest negative reading of -29, suggesting momentum confirmation remains incomplete.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US recorded approximately $3.1 billion in inflows over nine consecutive days before concluding with net outflows of $148.7 million. Citibank analysts have revised their 12-month BTC price projection upward from $82,000 to $113,000 earlier this week.
