Bitcoin Tops $78,000 Amid Institutional Inflows and Easing Geopolitical Tensions
Bitcoin prices surged past $78,000 on Wednesday as investors responded positively to strong institutional inflows and easing geopolitical tensions. The broader crypto market rose approximately 2.3% over 24 hours.
According to Zeus Research analyst Dominick John, the move reflected a combination of factors, including reduced geopolitical pressure, consistent demand from spot Bitcoin ETFs, and short-side positioning dynamics.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs drew in around $1.8 billion in net inflows over three consecutive weeks, providing steady support against available supply.
LVRG Research Director Nick Ruck cautioned that a full bull cycle would require broader confirmation, including holding breakout levels between $78,000 and $83,000.
