Bitcoin's recent rally has come to an end as it slipped below $77,000 on Wednesday. Rising oil prices and bond yields have added strain across crypto markets, causing BTC to drop by 1.58% in the past 24 hours. Ethereum followed suit, falling 3.08% to trade at $2,369.

The global crypto market capitalization has also seen a decline of 0.95% to $2.59 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap. While some experts expect this consolidation and higher volatility due to September being one of Bitcoin's weakest months, others are more optimistic about the future.

Prateek Gupta, Head of Business at Mudrex, pointed out that Bitcoin spot ETFs have seen positive inflows, recording $3.5 billion in net inflows during August, their strongest monthly inflow since September 2025.
