Bitcoin Whale Unloads $1.15 Billion in Single Transaction
A massive Bitcoin transaction has been spotted, moving 88,857 BTC worth $1.15 billion to two unknown addresses.
The transfer was split into two parts, with 43,185 BTC going to one address and 45,671 BTC going to the second.
This is the largest dollar-value transaction in Bitcoin's history, surpassing the previous record of $1.1 billion set in April 2020.
The original address containing the transferred Bitcoins had around 303,000 BTC, worth approximately $4 billion at current prices.
