Bitcoin Whales Accumulate as Analysts Eye $100,000 Breakout
Bitcoin is currently trading in a tight range between $83,000 and $86,700, with whales accumulating 14,335 BTC since October 1. The cryptocurrency is priced at $86,152.26, showing modest gains of 0.31% over the past day and 2.22% over the past week, with daily trading volume at $27.97 billion.
Analysts are watching key support levels between $83,300 and $84,600, where 1.59 million BTC have changed hands according to UTXO Realized Price Distribution (URPD) data. This suggests strong buying interest and potential price defense. If Bitcoin can break above $86,700, experts like Ali Charts see a clear path to $100,000 with minimal resistance.
Trader SIRRILLAH highlights that Bitcoin has already broken through previous resistance levels at $66,000 and $82,000, suggesting $87,000 is the next hurdle. Daan Crypto Trades expects volatility as the price tests $85,000 daily, acting as both support and resistance. A sustained move above $87,000 could signal a rally toward $100,000.
However, caution remains. Trader Lennaert Snyder is defending $85,000 and has a short position targeting $84,400. He warns that if support fails, Bitcoin could drop to $82,500 or even $74,000. The key levels to monitor are $83,300 to $84,600 for support and $86,700 for resistance.
