Bitcoin's Short-Term Holder MVRV Ratio Hits 11-Month High
Bitcoin's Short-Term Holder MVRV ratio has reached its highest level since November 2025, according to analyst Darkfost. This metric indicates that short-term holders are currently in profit, with their held market value exceeding the realized value.
The ratio has risen significantly between August and September, driven by Bitcoin's price breaking above the STH cost basis of approximately $73,100. At its current level of 1.15, it means short-term holders are, on average, 15% in profit.
This level warrants close attention as it may prompt short-term holders to take action, particularly profit-taking.
