BitFuFu, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency mining company, has received clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) for its acquisition of a 51% stake in Uni-Titan LLC, owner of a large Bitcoin mining facility in Oklahoma.

The facility has a capacity of 51 megawatts and is part of BitFuFu's strategy to expand its footprint in institutional-scale digital asset mining.

As part of the clearance process, BitFuFu entered into a national security agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Department of the Treasury, which restricts the use of the facility to specified crypto mining operations and limits the deployment of certain advanced computing hardware.
