Strive Expands Bitcoin Treasury to $2.3 Billion Amid Aggressive Accumulation
Strive, a Dallas-based asset manager, has expanded its corporate bitcoin treasury to 27,462 BTC after purchasing 1,107 coins between September 21 and 25 at an average price of $85,396 per coin. The total outlay came to $94.5 million, lifting the company's total holdings to a value of approximately $2.3 billion.
The acquisition is part of Strive's aggressive accumulation strategy that has driven its stock up nearly 70% this year. In an SEC Form 8-K filed on September 28, the company disclosed the transaction and noted that its SATA preferred stock vehicle funded 85% of the capital raise while warrant exercises contributed $12.4 million.
With this latest purchase, Strive has added roughly 2,462 bitcoin across two consecutive weekly filings. The company's holdings have grown steadily through a series of periodic purchases rather than any single large transaction, a cadence that has become increasingly common among publicly traded firms pursuing direct balance-sheet bitcoin exposure.
