Bitget CEO Sets $50,000 as Her Personal Re-entry Price for Bitcoin
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen spoke out about her views on the recent rebound in Bitcoin. She believes that this is not a signal that the bear market has ended and sees $50,000 as a potential price for buying back into the asset.
Chen currently holds a significant portion of her portfolio in stablecoins and only allocates less than 1% to other assets like Ether (ETH) and Solana (SOL). She does not have a strong preference for altcoins overall but was positive about Hyperliquid's native token HYPE, citing its sharp rise due to a pro-crypto policy environment.
Chen also expressed caution towards memecoins, predicting that they may not repeat the same frenzy seen in previous cycles. This is because investor losses have accumulated, making it less likely for retail investors to move in the same way as before.
The Bitget CEO was skeptical about a scenario where Bitcoin reaches $1 million by 2030, citing declining returns as each four-year cycle repeats.
