Bitget has confirmed that customer funds remain safe after a recent hack involving multiple tokens and networks. The exchange stated that its cold wallets were not compromised, ensuring user assets are secure. In addition to this security measure, Bitget's protection fund exceeds $464 million, providing an additional layer of protection for users.

The affected tokens include Ether (ETH), XRP, BNB, Avalanche (AVAX), Tether (USDT), and USD Coin (USDC). Despite the hack, Bitget has assured users that their funds are covered 1:1. This means that if a user's assets were affected during the hack, they can rest assured that their losses will be fully reimbursed.

Bitget is currently working towards a full recovery and plans to announce the withdrawal-restoration window once confirmed. The exchange has also reported the incident to relevant agencies and contacted the foundations of all affected networks, with some confirming that hacker addresses have been frozen.
