Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it detected unauthorized outflows from part of its wallets on September 24, 2026. The company claims that around $351.6 million was stolen.

The exchange has suspended withdrawals and is conducting a security review to determine the root cause of the hack. According to an analysis by CryptoSlate, the funds were transferred across fifteen transactions and seven assets, with Ethereum accounting for 44.4% of the total amount moved.

Bitget's CEO, Gracy Chen, stated that only part of the hot and warm wallet tier was affected, while the cold wallets remain intact. The exchange has promised to provide hourly updates on the situation and a full report within 24 hours.
