Bitget Processes Over 7,600 BTC Withdrawals in First Hour After Reopening
Bitget processed a significant number of Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawal requests after reopening the service on Monday. The exchange had announced a phased restoration schedule, and by 4:50 a.m. ET (08:50 UTC), the initial batch of confirmed requests had been completed.
The figures show that Bitget handled 7,683 BTC withdrawal requests, totaling around 3,609 BTC, within the first 50 minutes after reopening the service. Out of these, 6,946 transactions were confirmed on-chain.
Bitget's restart did not result in a backlog of withdrawal orders during the update process. The exchange has scheduled to resume Ether (ETH) withdrawals on September 29 at 4 a.m. ET (08:00 UTC), followed by Tether (USDT) withdrawals on September 30, and other tokens, fiat, and peer-to-peer services will begin resuming in stages from October 2.
