Bitget has opened its Bitcoin withdrawal portal, marking an important milestone for users. According to a platform user, Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa), on September 28th, a total of 5500 BTC from the protection fund was transferred in batches to Bitget's hot wallet to accommodate withdrawals.

A significant portion of this amount has already been processed, with 2042.28 BTC (approximately $169 million) moved to the hot wallet, leaving 3457.72 BTC on-chain. The user speculated that this does not equate to the actual withdrawal amount, and Bitget's related accounts have committed to replenishing the fund to a baseline of $300 million within a week.

Bitget is known for offering one-stop trading for cryptocurrencies, stocks, and gold, and has recently offered a welcome pack worth 6200 USDT for new users. The development comes as the platform seeks to reassure its users about the security of their funds.
