Crypto exchange Bitget has resumed Bitcoin withdrawals after a security breach on September 24. The breach compromised part of Bitget's hot and warm wallet infrastructure, but its cold wallets remained secure.

The attacker stole nearly $388 million in assets, with the exchange initially reporting $351.6 million stolen before revising it to $387.5 million after accounting for additional transfers on Zcash and Tron.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said that they restored Bitcoin withdrawals first because the withdrawal pipeline was completed first. Ether and Tether's USDt withdrawals will follow as security checks progress, with a schedule announced by Bitget.
