Bitget Resumes Ethereum Withdrawals After Phased Restoration

Bitget has resumed Ethereum (ETH) withdrawals after a period of restricted access. The exchange reopened ETH withdrawals on September 29, marking the second stage of its phased restoration of withdrawal services.

The reopening followed the restoration of Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawals on September 28. According to BSCN data, approximately 651 ETH moved into Bitget on a net basis as of 09:00 UTC. The figures showed 9,674 ETH sent to the exchange against 9,023 ETH withdrawn.

Bitget had announced that withdrawal services would return in phases after its security and technical teams completed additional validation of the exchange's withdrawal infrastructure. USDT withdrawals are set to resume on September 30 across Ethereum, BSC, Solana, and Tron. Other supported tokens, along with fiat withdrawals and peer-to-peer services, are scheduled to return on October 2.

The exchange described the withdrawal suspension as a security measure rather than an indication of insufficient user assets. Bitget said the vulnerability associated with the incident had been identified and remediated, while additional security checks and an independent investigation continued.
