Strategy Dumps $142M into Bitcoin, Retires Preferred Stock

Strategy, an investment firm known for its large Bitcoin holdings, has continued its aggressive buying spree. Between September 21 and 27, it acquired 1,665 more BTC at a total cost of approximately $142.7 million.

The average purchase price per coin was $85,681. This latest transaction brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 847,666, with an aggregate cost of around $63.95 billion and an average acquisition price of $75,437 per BTC.

In addition to buying more Bitcoin, Strategy also repurchased about $151.7 million worth of its own STRC preferred shares during the same period. The company financed this activity in part through sales of its MSTR common stock, generating net proceeds of around $246.2 million.
