Bitget Revises Hack Estimate to $387.5M Amid Remittix BINANCE500 Presale Offer

The cryptocurrency exchange Bitget revised its estimate of a recent security incident to $387.5 million, up from an initial figure of around $352 million.

The updated total includes assets on Zcash and TRON that were omitted from the first accounting, according to Bitget's own incident update.

The exchange described the incident as contained and said it had remediated the identified vulnerability, but a final recovery total and investigation outcome were still pending in the update.
