Bitget has updated its breach report, revealing that the total affected assets have reached $388 million. This is higher than the initial figure of $352 million reported a day earlier.

The increase in the estimated loss comes from a more thorough review of blockchain activity, which revealed additional stolen assets on Zcash and TRON networks.

Despite the higher number, Bitget emphasized that no new theft has occurred. The incident is fully contained, and further unauthorized transfers are not possible.

The company paused withdrawals immediately after the breach as a precautionary measure to ensure user funds were secure.
