Bitget Wallet Adds 1700+ Tokenized Stocks via Reality Integration
Bitget Wallet has expanded its offerings to include over 1,700 tokenized stocks and ETFs through its integration with Reality. This move marks a significant development in the self-custodial wallet's ecosystem, which now reaches more than 100 million users.
The feature is initially available across Arbitrum and Morph, two popular layer-2 scaling solutions for Ethereum. By partnering with Reality, Bitget Wallet has diversified its tokenized-asset integrations beyond existing providers like Ondo and xStocks.
This expansion into traditional finance assets comes as self-custody wallets continue to evolve from simple key storage and token management tools to full-fledged financial interfaces. Users can now access various services within the wallet, including swaps, staking, lending, and payments, blurring the lines between exchanges and traditional brokerage accounts.
Notably, Bitget's tokenized-equity feature is restricted in the United States due to regulatory concerns surrounding synthetic or tokenized exposure to U.S. securities. Outside of this market, however, the trend towards wallet-based financial interfaces is accelerating.
