O'Leary Questions Ethereum's Dominance Amid Speed Concerns

Influential investor and media personality Kevin O'Leary has expressed doubts about Ethereum's dominance in the cryptocurrency space, hinting at potential investments in chains like Solana and Avalanche.

O'Leary stated with 'certainty' that Ethereum may not become the standard across different sectors of the stock market, citing its speed as a concern. He pointed out that Solana is currently processing over 1,262 transactions per second, compared to Ethereum's 22.44 transactions per second.

O'Leary praised Avalanche for its 'multi-chain' feature, called subnets, which have their own customized rules and independent validator sets while plugging into the broader Avalanche ecosystem.
