Bitget Wallet Shifts Cashback Rewards to Digital Assets
Bitget Wallet has introduced a new rewards scheme called Assetback, which allows cardholders to receive up to 3% cashback in various digital assets. The programme replaces traditional cash rewards and lets users select from seven reward options, including Bitcoin, tokenised gold, Nvidia, Tesla, Google, the S&P 500, and USDC.
The base cashback rate is 2%, while new users or those meeting a monthly spending threshold can unlock a 3% 'Booster' rate. This higher rate applies for the month in which the threshold is reached and the following calendar month.
Rewards are calculated and applied automatically, eliminating the need to open a separate brokerage account or manually invest cashback. However, users must accumulate at least 1 USDC worth of rewards before assets other than USDC can be transferred to their Rewards Account.
The launch adds another layer of investment functionality to Bitget Wallet Card, which allows users to top up with digital assets and spend through merchants accepting Visa or Mastercard.
Bitget Wallet said its own card spending nearly tripled during the first half of 2026, with usage increasingly resembling traditional consumer payment behaviour. The company is also planning further regional campaigns and a user-generated content campaign following the launch.
