BitMart Announces Crypto Trading Platform Shutdown by January 2027

Share

BitMart has announced it will shut down its crypto trading platform through an orderly wind-down process by January 2027. The company cited current operating conditions and market circumstances that no longer support continuing operations.

The exchange will gradually stop accepting new users, suspend fiat and crypto deposits, prevent new futures positions and spot orders, and phase out automated services starting from July 26, 2026. Trading across spot and futures markets will cease on August 26, while investment products including Earn, staking, lending, and Launchpad will be retired separately.

The exchange expects to officially cease platform operations on January 31, 2027, although users will retain access to their accounts for withdrawals and historical records afterward. Users are advised to withdraw assets as early as possible by completing KYC verification, closing open positions, and submitting withdrawal requests before the August 26 deadline.
