BitMart Announces Exchange Closure Amid Market Evaluation

BitMart, a cryptocurrency exchange, has announced it will begin an orderly wind-down of its trading platform. The decision was made following 'a careful evaluation of the Company's operating conditions, market environment, and future strategic direction', according to BitMart.

The exchange attributed no further detail for the closure, but did warn that withdrawal requests may face additional review after operations cease on Jan. 31, 2027.

Trading services will be discontinued on Aug. 26 at 01:00 UTC, and platform operations will officially end on Jan. 31, 2027, at 15:59 UTC.
