BitMine Bets Big on Ethereum's Next Bull Run
BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) is on a mission to accumulate Ethereum (ETH), and its conviction in ETH's potential is evident in its actions. The company has been steadily buying back BMNR shares, with a cumulative repurchase of 20.8 million shares under its $4 billion stock-buyback program since July 1.
BMNR holds approximately 5.815 million ETH, and staked 87% of its total holdings, generating annualized staking revenue of around $250 million. The company also acquired 9,926 ETH last week, increasing its total Ethereum holdings to 5.815 million tokens.
Ethereum's smart-contract infrastructure supports tokenized assets, stablecoins, decentralized applications, and programmable payments, which could drive demand for ETH as both a transaction-fee asset and staking collateral. Institutional demand showed signs of cooling last week, but the positive flows resumed with an inflow of $4.95 million on Monday.
The Relative Strength Index is near 54, while the Stochastic oscillator stands around 63, indicating improving buying pressure without suggesting that ETH has reached overbought conditions. A decisive break above the 100-day EMA at $1,918 could expose the horizontal resistance level at $1,961.
