Bitmine Crypto Holdings Surpass $17 Billion with 6.02 Million ETH
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) reported that its total holdings in crypto, cash, and 'moonshot' investments reached $17.4 billion as of October 4. The company's Ethereum (ETH) holdings now stand at 6.02 million tokens, along with 214 Bitcoin (BTC), significant stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings, and $643 million in cash and marketable securities.
Chairman Tom Lee highlighted Bitmine's stock performance, noting that it outperformed Ethereum by 731 basis points over the first nine months of 2026. During this period, ETH fell 10% while BMNR shares dropped only 3%. Lee attributed this outperformance to a share buyback that retired 21 million shares this year.
Bitmine has staked 5.07 million ETH, or 84% of its total holdings, through its MAVAN platform. The company's staking operations generated a 2.63% annualized yield over the past week, with projected annualized staking revenue of $363 million. Bitmine has been consistently adding to its ETH position, acquiring 15,112 ETH over the past week.
Lee also noted that Ethereum outperformed the S&P 500 by 6,832 basis points in Q3 2026. Bitmine is now one of the most actively traded US stocks, with an average daily dollar volume of $827 million. The company has received backing from notable investors, including ARK Invest's Cathie Wood, Pantera, Kraken, and Galaxy Digital.
