Bitmine Hits 6 Million ETH Milestone

Bitmine has continued its aggressive Ethereum accumulation strategy, purchasing 17,362 ETH to push its total holdings above 6 million tokens. The company now holds 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply and is 98% towards its goal of owning 5%.

The latest purchase was made over the last week, following a press release from Bitmine that confirmed it had reached the milestone. According to Chairman Tom Lee, 'Bitmine's total ETH holdings now exceed 6 million.'

Bitmine has been steadily accumulating Ether since launching its treasury strategy in June 2025, with the goal of building an Ethereum-focused portfolio rather than treating ETH as a short-term trading position.

The company estimates that its current staking position generates approximately $358 million in annualized revenue, translating to an estimated 2.62% yield on its staked assets.
