Bitmine Reaches 4.9% ETH Holdings Milestone, Valued at $16.4 Billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced its ETH holdings have reached 6.02 million tokens, which is 4.9% of the total ETH coin supply of 122.1 million. This milestone comes just 15 months after the company began its 'Alchemy of 5%' goal, which is to accumulate 5% of the ETH supply.
As of October 4, 2026, Bitmine's crypto holdings are comprised of 6,016,414 ETH at $2,726 per ETH, 214 BTC, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, a $117 million stake in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS), and total cash & marketable securities of $643 million. The company's ETH holdings are valued at $16.4 billion.
Bitmine has staked more ETH than any other entity in the world, with 5,067,309 ETH staked on the MAVAN (Made in America VAlidator Network) platform. This represents $13.8 billion at $2,726 per ETH. The projected ETH staking reward would be $431 million on an annualized basis.
Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, stated that the company's share price outperformance of ETH during the bear market of 2025-2026 is notable. In the first 9 months of 2026, ETH declined 10% while BMNR was down by 3%, or outperformance of 731bp.
