Bitmine Reaches Ethereum Holdings Milestone, Aims for 5% Supply
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has reached a significant milestone in its Ethereum holdings, now totaling 5.79 million tokens, which is 4.8% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million. This achievement comes just 13 months after starting its pursuit of the 'Alchemy of 5%,' where BMNR aims to acquire 5% of the total ETH supply.
The company's Chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, expressed optimism about the future strengthening of ETH prices, citing a rising ETH/BTC ratio and a 10-week high in ETH prices. Lee emphasized that the next key levels for ETH are $2,000 and $2,500, as predicted by technical strategists.
Bitmine's staking operations have also seen significant growth, with its total staked ETH reaching 4,917,189 tokens, representing a $9.6 billion value at the current price of $1,948 per ETH. The company's MAVAN platform has facilitated this staking, and it is projected to generate annualized staking revenues of approximately $299 million when fully utilized.
