Bitwise Bets Big on NEAR: $155 Price Target By 2030

Bitwise Asset Management has published a 39-page investment report projecting NEAR Protocol to reach $155.85 by 2030. The report, which coincided with the filing of Bitwise's U.S. spot NEAR ETF on NYSE Arca, outlines three possible scenarios for the protocol's price.

The base case assumes successful execution and a settlement rail for autonomous AI agents, projecting 328 million agents on the network by 2030. Each agent would run 1,000 transactions per year at an average value of $5, generating a 0.3% protocol fee that flows back to token holders.

Stacking a 50x valuation multiple on top of this model produces the base case price target of $155.85. The max case, which compares NEAR to Visa's payments volume, reaches $562.81. The bear case falls to $1.63.

The report highlights ecosystem catalysts that underpin the thesis, including Ondo tokenized stocks on near.com and confidential perps launch via Hyperliquid. The NRR ETF turns the Bitwise forecast into a brokerage-account trade, with staking added to the filing meaning the trust retains roughly 67% of staking rewards.
