Bitwise Brings Institutional Portfolios to Crypto Wallets
Bitwise has launched three tokenized stock portfolios in collaboration with Coinbase and Glider. The Automated Token Portfolios (ATPs) allow investors to replicate institutional investment strategies directly inside their crypto wallets.
The ATPs are designed by Bitwise, with Coinbase providing the underlying tokenized stocks and executed through Glider. This structure gives Bitwise more flexibility than a conventional ETF, which can take months to launch and may be constrained by diversification or fund-design requirements.
The initial portfolios include the Mag7X ATP, which provides equal-weighted exposure to Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Nvidia (NVDA), Alphabet (GOOGL), Amazon (AMZN), Meta (META), Tesla (TSLA), and SpaceX; the Robotics ATP, which focuses on companies developing humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles, and warehouse automation, including Tesla (TSLA) and Nvidia (NVDA); and the AI Leaders ATP, which includes Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOGL), Meta (META), Amazon (AMZN), SpaceX, Tesla (TSLA), and Sandisk.
Unlike ETFs, where investors own shares in a pooled vehicle, ATP users hold individual tokenized stocks directly. Glider adjusts the portfolio without taking control of the assets, creating additional possibilities for lending and margin use, where available.
