BlackRock Dominates $159.9M Bitcoin ETF Inflow Ahead of Fed Meeting
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a rebound in inflows on September 14, according to Farside Investors data. The net inflow was $159.9 million, erasing only about 35% of the losses from the previous four sessions that saw $462.7 million withdrawn from the market.
The recovery was led by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which pulled in $134.3 million, and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), which added $53.3 million. Together, these two funds accounted for more than 70% of the net inflows.
The return to inflows comes just before the Federal Reserve's policy meeting on September 15-16. The market has been cautious ahead of this decision, and a surprise in rates or the Fed's outlook could shift demand for risk assets and impact Bitcoin ETFs.
